Danielle Gauss, IBCLC
Author of “The Booby Fairy’s Guide to Breastfeeding” and founder of Justbreastfeeding, an advanced practice private lactation team, Danielle is an IBCLC Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant, ICCE Certified Childbirth Educator, and author. She is trained in Oral Tethering, specializing in the identification and treatment of lip ties, tongue ties, buccal and posterior tethering. She has received her education from UCSD.
Danielle obtained her Board Certification as a Lactation Consultant through the International Board of Lactation Examiners and is a proud member of ILCA (International Lactation Consultants Association)Danielle received her childbirth educator certification through ICEA (International Childbirth Education Association) and over the last 16 years has taught at several Orange County hospitals.
Over the course of her 17 year career she has assisted in numerous births and helped educate thousands of women about the birth process and breastfeeding needs of their infants. She had the unique opportunity to work as an IBCLC both in a hospital setting for 4 years and pediatric office for the last 9 years before settling into her new home base in Irvine for the last 2 years. She has had extensive training in oral tethering with Dr. Dr. Rosanne Berger.
